"Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil." (Ephesians 6:11)
Gladius -- n. sword
More than a fabulous performer and award-winning composer, listeners have called Gladius a "miracle in the making"—the guitarist has prevailed over a medical condition that could have easily ended a musician's career. Inspired by the great classical composers, Spanish guitar legends, and melodic metal masters, Gladius is perpetually pushing the boundaries of the Flamenco-Fusion and Baroque-Ethnic-Metal genres of music. In an era when expertise and originality are often overlooked in lieu of fleeting flash and flare, Gladius defines innovation as a composer and mastery as an instrumentalist.
The guitarist studied at Georgia State University under Professor John Sutherland (former pupil of Andres Segovia). Since then, Gladius has toured around the south-eastern United States, released several albums, and won numerous composition awards.
